Description
Description
The Shimano Deore M6120 MTB disc brakes are powerful brakes with high controllability. These brakes have double pistons, which makes the braking power extra high. This makes them very suitable for Trail & Enduro mountain biking.
High braking power, good controllability.
The Shimano Deore M6120 MTB disc brakes have four pistons in the caliper. This gives you extra high braking power, allowing you to stop faster on rough trails. The dosage is also very good thanks to Shimano's Servo Wave technology. This technology means that the pistons move faster in the first half of the brake movement than in the second half. This allows you to better modulate the braking force, making it easier to overcome difficult courses.
Delivered as J-kit
These Shimano Deore M6120 MTB Disk Brakes are delivered as a J-kit. This means that the hydraulic brake line is mounted to the caliper and also bled. However, the brake line is not yet attached to the brake lever. This allows you to easily pull the cable through a frame with internal cable routing. If you then mount the line to the brake lever, you do not need to bleed it.
If you switch to a different brand of disc brake or want to fit a different size rotor, you may need an adapter between frame and caliper.
These adapters can be found here.
